FTTH Timeline

2015

Kicked off Civil, MDU and SDU projects with Vumatel

2017

Launched SMF KZN division. Kicked off Civil, MDU and SDU projects with Capital in KZN. Consistently rolled out civil, MDU & SDU projects for Capital, Mtelecoms

2018

Began last mile installations for SADV. Became a key contractor for ABC Fiber (Vumatel) 

2019

FTTH division graduated to full turnkey fibre infrastructure builds for Mtelecoms & ABC. Commenced projects with Valoworx (Metro Fibre) 5G swapouts on Huawei BTS sites

SMF is fully Health & Safety compliant with consistently updated safety files on every site. We enforce a strict safety policy, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations at all times. We carry out regular safety courses to ensure that all internal teams, as well as contractors, maintain up to date safety procedures under all conditions.
